Generating cultural and artistic spaces requires an energy that is proof against any vicissitude, especially when you are an independent person and you want to generate, not only a work or an activity or an event, but also one that goes beyond the established «social laws» that prevail in the society in which you live. And, even more so, being a woman in a patriarchal society in which we are framed, and, I suppose, much more so in societies of countries where certain attitudes and ways of life are much more internalized as «normal».
The people who participate in this project, and, being each one «from her father and mother», we consider that culture must be promoted beyond any border because through it, a work of awareness and social transformation can be carried out.
We would like to thank the Ukrainian Gender Museum and, above all, the tireless and hard work of the women who with their tenacity, day after day, try to carry it out because they are an example of social struggle in their perseverance. We would like to contribute our grain of sand.
